Phoebe Sarah Wagner.
A little about her.
Phoebe is 19 years old and grew up in Croydon, South London in pubs where her Dad would play Blues and Folk music. A lover of books and art from a young age she loved performing but only began writing when she was 16.
Since then, she has joined this collective and accomplished showcases, group performances, workshops and explored ideas at festivals, spoken word events and on the radio in 2015. She is a performance artist who has skills in writing, directing and performing. Taking inspiration from events in her own life and current affairs in the global and local landscapes. Her goal as an artist is to liberate her own and others thoughts.
A previous student at the BRIT School, a free performing arts School for GCSE and A Level, she studied Theatre for 5 years, acting and writing plays and poetry. She has been part of a theatre company which toured to Plymouth, Brighton and London venues in the first half of 2015.
She is now studying European Theatre Arts at Rose Bruford Drama School which will take her abroad in her second year to a country in Europe to connect with theatre there.
Her current inspirations are being a woman, mental health, growing up, the work of Jamie xx, debbie tucker green, Warsan Shire, Maya Angelou, 'The Social Animal' by David Brooks and Kate Tempest. Some things she enjoys is notebooks, maps, washing up sponges and Drake.
